HIRE RATES INCLUDE A TENDER WITH AN OUTBOARD AND FUEL FOR THE TENDER.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR HOUSE BOAT FUEL IS CHARGED @ $30 PER CRUSING HOUR.
Terms & Conditions
Bookings: A deposit of $400 will be required within 7 days of reservation to confirm the booking. The balance of the charter is to be paid before commencement of the charter, by cash, credit card or 30 days in advance for cheques. At peak periods (Xmas, Easter, long weekends etc), we reserve the right to ask for full payment to be made 30 days prior to the charter commencing.
Security Deposit: A bond of $1000 cash or credit card must be lodged before departure. The bond will be refunded within 5 days less any cost of repairs, fuel charge or damage to boats or equipment or cost of extra cleaning. Rarely, the cost of repairs/replacement is not known at the time of returning the boat. In this case, we reserve the right to hold the bond for up to 7 days, until the cost can be ascertained.
Charter Contract: A charter contract stating the conditions under which the boat is chartered will be entered into before commencement of the charter period. Provided this contract is adhered to, liability for damage to the boat or equipment will be limited to the amount of the security bond. If the contract is breached, liability will not be so limited.
The Charter: The charter is made on the understanding that the boat is placed at the disposal of the hirer on the date booked unless the management is prevented from doing so by mechanical breakdown or unforeseen circumstances. Should that occur, all monies paid will be refunded in full. However, the hirer shall have no claim on any account against the management.
Cancellation: The deposit will be refunded, less $100 cancellation fee, provided sixty (60) days notice is given. Otherwise, refund will be dependent upon the boat being re-chartered for the same period and fee.
Minimum Age: At least one person per group must be over 21 years of age, and remain aboard during the charter.
No Warranty: Except as required by law, Management gives no warranty whatsoever in relation to the operational condition of the vessel. The Hirer will have no claim against Management in respect of any loss, damage or injury arising out of the operational condition of the vessel.
Indemnity: The Hirer is liable for and irrevocably and unconditionally indemnifies Management against all liability, loss, penalties, payments, costs, charges and expenses directly or indirectly arising out of the Hirer's failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the hire agreement and any Local, State and Commonwealth laws relating to the use of the waterways.
